One company, two activities.

Elven Crafts started as a chainmail jewellery practice in Helsinki and has grown into something a bit broader. Today it is two related but distinct things, sharing one brand and one team behind the scenes.

The Workshop Platform

We curate craft workshops led by professional artisans across the Nordics. Customers come to us for team building, hen parties, birthdays, school groups, and corporate events. Each workshop delivers one craft, taught by one master— chosen and matched by us based on the group's size, space, and timing. Beneath the shared Elven Crafts brand, every workshop is the work of a real, named artisan.

The Chainmail Studio

The studio is the original craft. Maria Sol designs and weaves chainmail jewellery in Helsinki: necklaces, earrings, bracelets, headpieces. Each piece is made by hand, ring by ring, from start to finish. Pieces are sold online and at occasional fairs and art markets across Finland.

How they fit together

Maria runs the studio and curates the platform. The platform's chainmail workshops are taught by Maria herself (and Patrik, her partner in Copenhagen). Other crafts on the platform are taught by other masters: bead jewellery, candle making, analog photography, and more as we onboard.

We keep the two visible activities separate so there is no confusion about what you are buying — a hands-on experience with other people, or a piece of finished jewellery for yourself.
